Thank you for visiting the Southwood PTO!

The mission of our PTO is to enhance and support the educational experience at Southwood, to develop a closer connection between school and home by encouraging parent involvement, and to improve the environment at Southwood through volunteers and financial support. 

 

We provide opportunities to get families involved and build up the school community. The PTO hosts family events throughout the school year including Spooktacular Family Night, Movie Night, Neon/Glow Night, and the Talent Show to name a few. The PTO organizes fundraisers during the year to fund educational enrichment with STEAM Night, assemblies, and new books for the library and classrooms.

Parent involvement is very important in the overall success of our school!

How can you get involved? Join. Volunteer. Participate.

Become a member (for free!) and receive emails keeping you up to date with PTO events and activities.

 

Each event or activity is made possible by volunteers using their time and talents. We can always use volunteers. Ask how you can help!

Attend a monthly meeting and meet other parents! Held on the first Tuesday of each month, meetings are relaxed and last about an hour. Hear from the PTO President and school principal about programs, school events, and volunteer opportunities. We would love to have you join us!
